Let’s Get Fat & Weird- The Ultimate Cookie Co.

img_6612.jpg

Fat & weird. Exactly what you’ll become if you eat enough of these delicious, doughy, baked goods. (I might add, yes I have celiac, no these are not gluten free, do not be fooled. Sometimes you just have to sacrifice for the blog.)

I’ve just been craving a cookie lately. A giant, gooey, fresh out-the-oven cookie. And since I’ve been watching Aubrie & Brad Bromlow’s Instagram stories without fail every morning as soon as I wake up (old habits die hard, I know), this craving has just gotten worse since they’ve opened their cookie business. And decided to quit their jobs, renovate a trailer and travel across the country.

THIS IS WHY I LOVE THEM. ULTIMATE POWER COUPLE GOALS.

…among so many other reasons. Both fitness coaches, they highly emphasize living life to its fullest, and not letting dieting get in the way of more important moments. In fact, Aubrie even named her fitness personalized plan- Memories Over Macros- after this life motto. These two are some of the most fit human beings I have ever seen, but they understand that life is about balance and sustainable health. Real sustainable health. Something I think is lost on so many fitness influencers these days, which is a real shames sine they’re, ya know, influencing so many people who don’t know any better. But that’s a rant for another day.

It may seem weird that two ripped fitness coaches open a cookie business, but it’s because of this balance that they so emphasize that it makes perfect sense. It’s not uncommon to see them chowing down on a donut or cookie after finishing a workout. And I love that. And I fully support their business because of this. Plus, I how they had fun with it! As you can tell by the cookie names and just the overall branding- only good vibes here. A++++ for business plan.

If you’ve been reading my blog for awhile now, as you know by now, if I like a product and what it’s about, I give it a shout on the blog. So, I, with a little assistance from some taste-testers (didn’t have to twist too many arms for help on this blog) tried four of the six  (now 7, they just released the “Basic B” for the fall season) currently available cookie flavors at Fat & Weird Cookie Co., and here were our favs

(P.S. I’m still bummed that Party Animal is no more, @aubrie, @brad, can we bring that back please 😏)

Available cookie flavors & descriptions:

The Party Animal – She’s a little sweet, with a whole lotta party in her. This cookie might even make you hop up on the table top to dance, she’s that good. A soft almond sugar cookie base swirled with an overload of confetti sprinkles, packed with frosted animal cookies, and injected with vanilla frosting. Just like a night out on the town, this little lady has everything you need for a wild time.

Big Sexy – Thicc and Salty, just the way our cousin Trace likes it. With just the right amount of salt sprinkled on top, this classic buttery chocolate chip cookie has a delectable salted caramel hidden inside just waiting to ooze on out. Warm this baby up, and she is sure to please!

Black Beauty – A silky, black cocoa base stuffed with white chocolate chips and massive cookie sandwich chunks that add just the right amount of textural indulgence. If you’re in love with America’s favorite cookie sandwich, this cookie is for you.

Golden Boy – This cookie is a classic, it’s everyone’s favorite, it can do no wrong…no wonder it’s dubbed the Golden Boy! A buttery brown sugar cookie base packed with semi-sweet chocolate chips, chunks of chocolate, and walnut pieces for the perfect nutty crunch. Stacked high for a crunchy outside and gooey center.

Grandpa’s Pocket – Grandpa does like to pack around snacks “just in case!” This cookie includes everything you might find toted in your grandpa’s pocket: butterscotch pieces, pecans, and dried cranberries, all woven into our favorite soft and chewy oatmeal base.

The Brad – Every hunk has a cookie named after him, right?! Our soft and chewy oatmeal cookie base loaded with semi-sweet chocolate chips and giant chocolate chunks. Fit for the most avid chocolate lovers.

The Pudge – Every peanut butter lover’s dream. A crunch peanut butter base woven together with loads of chocolate peanut butter candy pieces, topped off with an XL chocolate peanut butter cup.

The Basic B– The new and exclusive pumpkin spice latte cookie. A gooey pumpkin spice cookie base, rolled in crunchy Turbinado sugar, and injected with an espresso cream frosting. This cookie isn’t just for all you basics out there, even the non-coffee drinkers will LOVE this cookie.

I ordered:

The Brad, Big Sexy, The Pudge, & Black Beauty

(featured below from left to right)

The verdict? I’ll be honest, I was hoping for a consensus on what the favorite cookie flavor was, but that was far from what happened. Out of 6 people sampling, we had 1 for Black Beauty, 2 for The Brad, 1 for The Pudge and 2 for Big Sexy (my favorite- can’t beat the caramel goodness.) Good news is, there’s a Fat & Weird cookie for everyone!!

You can order your cookies directly on the Fat & Weird Cookie website, or for more tempting pictures, check out the official Instagram page! Orders can currently be placed for 2, 3, 4 and 6 packs, as well as the variety pack, although the company often offers flash sales and new flavors, so definitely sign up for reminders!

Andddd then when you’re done feasting on your cookies, check out Aubrie or Brad for some killer workout inspo. You’ll need it after this 😉
