A Peek Inside Syracuse Galentine's Day

I've been fortunate enough to meet some truly incredible boss babes since I began freelancing/blogging nearly three years ago. It's such a cliche term, but there really is no better way to describe them. Fierce, creative, outgoing, spontaneous and welcoming beyond belief, it always brings such a smile to my face to see women lifting other women up. And that was just the kind of day we had this past Monday as 35+ local wedding vendors, photographers and creatives gathered at 315 Beauty Bar in the Inner Harbor to share the love and celebrate none other than GALENTINES DAY (think pink - lots of pink).

Let me just say that Elizabeth from Paper Crane Calligraphy was my partner in crime and truly the force behind making this event happen. Elizabeth and I first met at Bella Figura, where we worked together for about a year. When I came to her with the idea only three short weeks ago, she took the bull by the horns and just RAN with it. Putting our heads together, we invited all the incredible wedding people we know, and even some we didn't, and everyone was so receptive to the idea!

I owe the following vendors a huge thank you shout out for bringing our vision and event to life:

315 Beauty Bar for letting us take over your BRAND NEW space for the day

She Rents Vintage for the rentals that transformed the space

The Cakeshop CNY for all the cookie decorating fun (where I learned too late that not all types of frosting spread alike 😂)

Annie Ross Aesthetics for the killer lash bar

Half Moon Bakery + the Little Cake Artist for, to date, the best macarons I have ever tasted in my life (I've been dreaming about these macarons since I first tasted them at a styled shoot this past fall at Heritage Barn)

Oops A Daisy for possibly the cutest mini bouquets I have ever laid eyes on

Little Cow Ice Cream for the sorbet that added a pop of flavor (and color) to our champs

Little Yard Farm for the savory bites (including an avocado toast that was to die for)

Seneca Ryan Co. for capturing every moment of the afternoon in the beautiful way that you do!

Each of these amazing vendors contributed in their own unique way to making the day the success it was and I'm so incredibly thankful to meet each and every one of y'all (and everyone else who came out!) If you're looking to get married in the CNY area and want to know more about any of these vendors, I'll gladly put you in touch with any of them!

x o x o,

jess
