Charcuterie & Cheese - The Delivery Box of Any Foodie's Dreams

Okkk so let's talk charcuterie for a second. This year cheese & charcuterie boards have taken the world by storm, and for good reason. Though we're locked up at home, the desire to happy hour (yes, I'm using happy hour as a verb here) hasn't gone away. The result? Wine and cheese tasting from the comfort of your own home.

You might remember I wrote about 12 Nights of Wine with VineBox last spring. At the time, ordering every aspect of my life online was still fairly new to me, so a wine subscription service seemed almost too good to be true. Flash forward almost a year later I'm all the older and wiser. Not only has my Amazon add to cart button seen more action than ever before (let's not freak out here - I also buy from small businesses quite literally on a daily basis), but this year of online shopping has introduced me to crafty new ways to try things I never would have tried before.

I introduce: cheese, meat & all the delicious add ons - delivered straight to your door.

Because I follow hundreds of food accounts, I've seen companies popping up left and right, but one that really caught my eye was Cheese & Charcuterie Club out of Rochester, NY. I finally had the chance to order one of their DIY boxes to share with the fam this holiday season, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint.

This beautiful box was delivered packed with ice and pre-portioned so nicely that every ounce of OCD in me was beaming with pride. The first thing that struck me was just how BIG the box was. They did not hold back on portion size - not only did we have a happy hour feast on Christmas Eve but we had leftovers for days to come! Ordering foods online can get tricky - you never know just what you're going to get - but guys, I was very impressed.

The great thing about Cheese & Charcuterie Club is that you can choose from one of two options:

  1. There are several pre-crafted DIY boards listed on the website to pick from based on your cheese preference & add ons (a mixture of sweets, garnish, berries, nuts, etc. depending on which box you choose)

  2. Option two: you can sign up for their monthly membership. That's right, this one's for you my cheese connoisseurs. Fresh cheese & premium cured meats. Every. Damn. Month.

This box included: Rosemary Manchego, French Bleu Cheese, Fontina, Thinly Sliced Sopressata, mixed Cerignola olives, dates, dried blueberries, roasted Pistachios, + BeeSeasonal Honey

It also came with step by step instructions on how to craft the most visually pleasing board possible (thank God because I struggled with the Manchego 😂)

In case I haven't raved enough about my experience, I dare you to go take a look at their Instagram for more than 5 minutes without drooling. Endless colorful cheese creations await you.

xx
